Body Shaming Shames Us All

Body shaming. It’s a phrase that’s being used a lot lately, with many celebrities speaking out against it. More importantly than the phrase being used a lot, the practice of it is being used all too much. And it’s not just for people who are overweight, not pretty enough, not athletic enough, etc. And it’s not just happening to girls and women.

As someone who has experienced body shaming when I was overweight and when I was fit, I was honored to be able to write a guest piece on on the issue. Learn more about what body shaming is, why it’s so hurtful and actually pushes people to the wrong paths rather than inspiring them to a better path, and how we should be treating each other through body praising.

Read the full article here. Please share this piece with others as it’s a very important issue that we can actually do something about.

Praise. Inspiration. Support. These are how you enlighten.your.body and that of those around you.
